Disney’s Asha is step forward in representative storytelling. But the latest Wish trailer shows her personality has the potential to be more of same.

It’s awesome to see so much cultural diversity in Disney films these days, but maybe its characters, especially the heroines, are getting somewhat repetitive. I grew up during the Disney Renaissance so I’m pretty spoiled in that regard! Curious if anyone else is seeing this trend.
